Diddly diddly

May wouldn’t be May without the all important St George’s Day celebrations on the sixth. Ivan & Elena often describe this event as as gypsy Christmas Day, and as such we are honoured to be invited to join them and be counted as part of the NovoP ‘Roma family’.

This year we were lucky to have bright blue sky and enough breeze to keep Ivan busy ensuring the sun brollies didn’t blow inside out. Elena excelled herself once again, with an amazing spread for their special guests (we didn’t see these so-called VIPs all afternoon, as it happened) and we had a bit of a dance to keep our belly-dancing skills up to scratch. Or at least give the locals something to laugh at…

Check out some of the shots of the afternoon!
